Solution / Immunotyping Assist
A closer look
at immunotyping.
A research prototype for monoclonal/restricted-pattern triage in CZE immunosubtraction on the Sebia CAPILLARYS 3 TERA platform.
Manuscript in preparation · Not yet submittedPrioritize human review
The intended task is to help identify cases that need detailed physician review. It does not establish a diagnosis, rule out a monoclonal abnormality, or authorize a report.
Methods and development status below are founder-provided. This website is informational and does not run the prototype or accept laboratory files.
Signals and methods
- Narrow-peak components in anti-IgG, anti-IgA, anti-IgM, anti-κ, and anti-λ subtraction traces.
- κ/λ asymmetry and logistic regression to combine features.
- Batch-relative percentile thresholds studied as a response to reagent-lot and calibration drift.
Drift is a central research observation. The method has not been shown here to eliminate drift or generalize across institutions.
Local processing.
Physician oversight.
The founder describes a browser-based Jet4 parser that reads instrument .mdb files on the user's computer. Independent security and compatibility review remain prerequisites for productization.
Input
Read locally
The research prototype parses the instrument file in the browser. No laboratory file processing occurs on this website.
Support
Review signals
Features support triage for detailed inspection. A non-flagged case is not a disease exclusion.
Responsibility
Physician review
The physician reviews the findings, determines clinical meaning, and authorizes the final report.
Known limitations
- Single-center, retrospective research.
- Issued reports serve as the current reference standard; blinded independent dual-reader reassessment has not been completed.
- Weak bands are a systematic limitation.
- Gamma-region detection remains imperfect; gamma percentage is excluded from decision-making.
- External validation and prospective workflow evidence remain pending.
Supporting utilities
An always-on-top IFE reporting phrase window supports a maximum of 40 bytes per line in the founder-reported implementation. This is a software constraint, not a clinical performance measure; encoding and destination-system compatibility require review.
An electrophoresis capture utility supports automatic crop detection, manual region selection, clipboard copy, and PNG export. Exported images may retain identifying information and need appropriate handling.
Utilities are described here; internal software and screenshots are not distributed.
Research performance, cohort details, subgroup results, and parser validation counts are intentionally not disclosed.
Research prototype. Not a cleared or approved medical device. Intended to assist, not replace, professional medical judgment.
